Energy Inspection (Energy Audit)
1. Energy inspection of OOO Avtodorstroy-podryadchik bitumen facility located in Belgorod was done including specification of basic technical parameters of production equipment and measurement of temperature patterns.
2. The specification level of energy consumption of the facility’s bitumen shops was calculated. Standard amount of process heat needed for bitumen preparation shops was calculated too.
3. Allocation of itemized standard design energy costs was specified.
4. Allocation of standard design energy costs was specified as per each energy-consuming plant.
5. Activities on improvement of energy efficiency of bitumen preparation processing lines were suggested.
6. The results of implementation of specific activities (with enough initial data) were estimated.
Engineering design
The engineering design of technical upgrade of the 800 ton two-section pit-type bitumen storage facility was developed. The design objective was to converse the heating system of the storage facility from combustion type (flame tube) to oil type with increase in output performance.
