Within the framework of assessment of risks before purchase of a bitumen storage facility with the total volume of 3,500 m3 in Rostov region an alternative design of the storage facility upgrade was done. Estimation of the heat demand for carrying out of technological operations and compensation of heat losses for two possible heating systems with the use of electric and oil heaters was carried out. Aggregated estimation of capital costs for upgrade and technical provision of the storage facility with three vertical steel storage tanks RVS1000 and one vertical steel storage tank RVS500.
