Main tasks
-
To develop a technology for receiving, storing and shipping bitumen
-
To manufacture equipment for heating bitumen in the RVS 2000 tank
Decision
The technological facility consists of a warehouse for off-season bitumen storage and a polymer bitumen binder preparation unit with a consumable warehouse.
The projected site includes:
- an 8,000 m3 off-season storage tank park with an automotive bitumen discharge and filling station, a coolant heating area, as well as technological pipelines;
- an installation for the preparation of polymer-bitumen binders with a consumable warehouse (existing, expandable) of raw materials (bitumen, oil-plasticizer) and tanks of finished products, posts for draining and filling raw materials and finished products, heating areas of the coolant.
The off-season storage tank park consists of four vertical steel tanks with a volume of 2000 m3 each with an oil heating system, fire protection equipment and instrumentation elements. Bitumen acceptance and shipment is provided at one bitumen discharge and filling station from automobile tanks.
The technology of the tank farm provides for long-term (off-season) storage of bitumen, followed by heating by the Kupol-200-2000 internal heating system to the temperatures of shipment to external transport.
Heat supply to the tank farm is provided by a 1.0 MW thermal oil heating station using natural gas.
The consumption park of the PBV installation includes existing tanks with a discharge-filling station and a coolant heating unit (beyond the design boundaries) and newly installed RVS 2000 m3, 8xRVS50 m3, an automobile discharge-filling station for raw materials and finished products, a PBV installation, a 1 MW thermal oil heating station and technological pipelines.
