Decision
The engineering design of the 2,000 t bitumen storage facility (2×vertical steel storage tank RVS1000) was developed. The project included: the process flow diagram and the piping and instrumentation diagram, the storage layout and separate units. Also, energy and hydraulic calculation was done, equipment was selected and specifications were prepared. The steelware for the system of internal bitumen heating KUPOL-40-1000 (2 units) were manufactured with the capacity up to 40 t/day. Technical maintenance of construction of the bitumen storage facility was done.
