Decision
Consumable warehouse of a manufacturing enterprise (asphalt concrete plant), intended for the reception, long-term (inter-seasonal) storage, heating and delivery of viscous road bitumen.
The designed section includes a tank farm, automobile posts for bitumen loading and unloading, as well as process pipelines.
The tank farm consists of three vertical steel tanks with a capacity of 4900 m³ with an oil heating system, fire protection equipment and instrumentation elements. Bitumen is received in the farm from three posts for draining bitumen from road tanks. The product can be shipped to road transport (road filling post) and to the feed tanks of the asphalt mixing plant.
The technology of the tank farm operation provides for long-term (interseasonal) storage of bitumen with subsequent heating to temperatures for in-plant transportation in a storage tank or in a reserve (emergency) tank with pumping into a working tank equipped with an internal heating system Kupol-200-4900 for intensive heating to temperatures for shipment to external transport.
The supply of heat to the tank farm is provided by the existing 1.2 MW thermal oil heating station via newly laid oil mains.
